Hewlett Packard seems to be focused on producing more netbooks like HP Mini 2140 netbook, the latest HP Mini model. The HP Mini2140 is powered by Intel’s Atom 1.6-GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM, 160GB 5400 rpm hard drive, and pre-installed with Windows XP, among other softwares. The basic price of HP Mini 2140 is under $500 but like any netbook, you can have the RAM and/or hard drive increased or upgraded (for a fee, of course).
The HP Mini 2140 is Hewlett Packard’s first netbook for 2009. It was launched to the public today. Comparing it with HP Mini 1000 netbook, the HP Mini 2140 specs are slightly better overall (no significant upgrade in features in my view). HP Mini 1000 netbooks come have these basic features: 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, 128MB Mobile Intel 945GM, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM 533MHz, and 60GB 4,200rpm hard drive

HP G60 230US laptop: The HP G60 230US laptop is a cheap laptop (notebook) considering its full specs and great features. It is sold at Circuit City for only $549.99. The HP G60 230US is a widescreen laptop boasting a 16-inch LCD screen. The basic features and technical specifications of HP G60 230US laptop include the following: Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200, Built-in 802.11n wireless, Burns DVDs and CDs, 320GB hard drive, 3GB of DDR2 system memory and HDMI output.
My review of HP G60 230US laptop is good. It’s cheap but speed is not compromised. Features are impressive (especially the built-in RAM which is much bigger than other models like the HP G50-104NR laptop, a predecessor of HP G60 230US). If you will ask my opinon, buy HP G60 230US. It’s on sale and it’s worth it. 
Yellowsnow: Free iPhone 3g Unlocking Software Codes Stolen
Yellowsnow or Yellowsn0w (zero, not an “o”) is a free iPhone 3G Unlocking software that is distributed by the iPhone Dev team to the public. I will emphasize here that Yellowsnow is a free iPhone 3G unlocking tool or utility (current version is 0.9.5 Beta).
However, due to the popularity of iPhone 3G, especially in the US and Europe, the iPhone D team warned the public of a certain Jody Sanders from the UK is selling the codes of the free iPhone 3G unlocking software (i.e., Yellowsnow) that is downloadable from the iPhone Dev website and is free of charge. This deed by “Jody Sanders” is definitely a scam claiming the codes of the iPhone 3g unlocking software as his own and making money out of it (instead of giving away the codes for free).
The youtube video dealing with this subject is presented herein for better understanding of this subject involving the iPhone 3G unlocking software codes stolen by the person named above.

I have always been keen on prices of unlocked GSM cell phones. Motorola is one cell phone brand that I love and is picking up on sales in the Philippines. Prices of unlocked Motorola GSM cell phones are relatively cheaper than many unlocked Nokia cell phone models. That is, of course, an overall assessment. Some Motorola models are more expensive than their Nokia counterparts.
Prices of Cheap China-made iPhone Clone in the Philippines
I was playing with a friend’s “iPhone Clone” in the Philippines this afternoon while playing mahjong (oh, yes I love playing that game). I did not notice that it was a China-made iPhone Clone at first because I was listening to the music files he saved onto its 256MB memory card. I only noticed that it was indeed a new iPhone clone when I looked at the top-right portion of the mobile device which boldly says IPHONE. The print alone is an indication that the phone is fake because of its poor quality (tip: this is one way to spot a fake cellphone model). Also, the back of the device bears the apple logo. again, the print quality is poor (rough and with some scratches).
I took a few shots of the iPhone clone made in China (pictures shown below) and even tried taking photos using it. Unfortunately, I used another China-made mobile phone (N99i v9+i Toshibo Dual SIM with TV) that’s why the quality of pictures are not good. Here are the photos: Read more
