Toyota Recall List of Cars January 2010: Toyota Suspends Sales and Production of Selected Toyota Vehicles
The Toyota recall list of cars this January 2010 was announced by Toyota a few days ago. As of the 26th of January 2010, Toyota also announced the suspension of sales and production on selected Toyota cars or vehicles. The production and sales suspension applies only on car models under Toyota recall list. The specific models affected in this suspension are the listed within this article.
Toyota suspends sales and production of the following Toyota cars or vehicles:
- 2005-2010 Avalon
- 2007-2010 Camry
- 2007-2010 Tundra
- 2008-2010 Sequoia
- 2009-2010 Corolla
- 2009-2010 RAV4
- 2009-2010 Matrix
- 2010 Highlander
Toyota PRIUS, Yaris, Camry Hybrid and other models are not affected. The January 2010 Toyota recall list of cars or vehicles under suspension will affect five manufacturing plants in the USA and Canada. The latest Toyota recall, suspension of sales and production is made to ensure safety of Toyota vehicle users. Toyota is a huge company and is conscious about the safety and security of Toyota car drivers and passengers.
Updates on Toyota Motor Incorporated press release said the company is currently working with CTS, manufacturer of accelerator pedals, to revise the pedal design. This collaboration of Toyota and CTS is to address the issue of the January 2010 Toyota Safety Recall of sticking gas pedals that caused unintended acceleration.
