Toyota suspends sales and production of the following Toyota cars or vehicles:
- 2005-2010 Avalon
- 2007-2010 Camry
- 2007-2010 Tundra
- 2008-2010 Sequoia
- 2009-2010 Corolla
- 2009-2010 RAV4
- 2009-2010 Matrix
- 2010 Highlander
Toyota PRIUS, Yaris, Camry Hybrid and other models are not affected. The January 2010 Toyota recall list of cars or vehicles under suspension will affect five manufacturing plants in the USA and Canada. The latest Toyota recall, suspension of sales and production is made to ensure safety of Toyota vehicle users. Updates on Toyota Motor Incorporated press release said the company is currently working with CTS, manufacturer of accelerator pedals, to revise the pedal design. This collaboration of Toyota and CTS is to address the issue of the January 2010 Toyota Safety Recall of sticking gas pedals that caused unintended acceleration.
