Unlocked Nokia N900 Release Date in the US Expected Today on Amazon
Amazon promised that the Nokia N900 release date will be today. The price of Nokia N900 is $559.99, saving you some $89 + $50 rebate for a total of $139. The rumored price of Nokia N900 prior to its release date (which had been delayed a few times) was considerably higher than this, like in the range of $700-750. Consider this deal a bargain then.

Free Yahoo Messenger (YM) 10 Download for Windows and Mac Now Available
it ook us a while before downloading the final version of Yahoo Messenger (YM). We waited until the free download of Yahoo Messenger Final Version 10 becomes available (which already is now). For one, we were pretty sure most of our IM buddies have not upgraded yet to Yahoo Messenger 10 and our upgrade will only create an incompatibility with older versions (YM 8 and 9). This set of incompatibility issues between 2 different YM versions includes the inability of both parties to communicate via Video Call or Video Chat. Unlike Google Talk (GTalk), video calling in Yahoo Messenger has always been problematic and slow. Gtalk though does not support all webcams so check out the article linked above to see if your webcam model is supported.

With the new free Yahoo Messenger 10 (download now to evaluate it yourself), the speed in video calling was allegedly improved prior to the final release. We haven’t actually tried doing a video call or conference today but we will ASAP and compare it with Gtalk’s tried and tested video chat feature. We love Gtalk, by the way, and it’s highly recommended for broadband internet connections. Skype is also one good Instant Messenger if you love chatting with your webcam on. For multi-account Instant Messaging purposes, try Digsby (IM + Email + Social Network). Just some tips.

Witnessing the Leonids meteor shower on November 17 this year was awesome – a truly remarkable experience for nature lovers. If you were not able to watch the meteor shower on November 17 (November 18 in some countries), you can do so by viewing the youtube video posted below. The time to watch Leonid meteor shower depends on your location. Refer to our previous post on this subject. You can expect some more meteor shower tonight (November 18) so you better get those video camcorders rolling.

Free Themes For Google Chrome Browser Version 3
There are lots of free artist themes for the Google Chrome 3.0.195.33. When we first used Chrome, we found it buggy and we stopped using it for a while. It just won’t satisfy our needs at that time. Up until now that free themes for Google Chrome browser are available for free download, we did not get interested in using it. We know for a fact it will take a while before Google Chrome browser gets in the zone. This is one software we’ll test extensively for security, speed and overall performance.
